In the wake of Mike Hudson’s passing, The Chief Mike Hudson Memorial Fund was established for those who were interested in contributing to several of the causes the were close to Mike’s heart.
The fundraiser successfully raised $7,325 over the course of six months. The money from the fund was used to purchase training equipment for Sea Bright Ocean Rescue’s Junior Lifeguard Program. The fund was also used to make generous donations to Beneath the Waves and Saving the Blue, which were two organizations that Hud had worked with to support ocean and shark conservation.
While the fund is now closed, you can still support Hud’s causes by making donations in Mike Hudson’s name to Beneath the Waves and or Saving the Blue.
